Imagine four unforgettable nights in one of Glen Clova's chic, one-bedroom Scandinavian lodges, nestled right between the breathtaking Angus Glens and the awe-inspiring Cairngorms National Park. A fabulous 4 night stay - arrive on Monday at 5pm and check out at 10am on Friday morning - perfect for a bit of resting and recharging.
Sink into your private hot tub and let the world melt away. Whether you’re hiking through stunning landscapes or simply soaking up the peace and quiet from your lodge, this is your time to relax, recharge, and reconnect.
Your lodge comes fully equipped with modern self-catering amenities, but if you fancy a night off from cooking, just head down to the hotel and book a delicious dinner (subject to availability, additional charges apply).
The lodges offer the perfect balance of comfort and adventure — giving you the freedom to be as active or as chilled as you like. Fresh air, spectacular views, and total relaxation await… we can’t wait to welcome you to your dream midweek escape!
Our hotel dates from 1850 and was first known as the Ogilvy Arms Hotel. In July 1922, it became property of the Batchelor family, and it has remained with them ever since. Re-named Glen Clova Hotel, after the Glen Clova Estate upon which it sits, it is now owned by Mrs Batchelor’s great-grandson, Hugh Niven, and his family. In addition to the 10 traditional rooms in the original hotel, Glen Clova now also offers 8 further rooms in the modern steading building, plus 9 self catering lodges and 2 holiday houses on the grounds. We offer a range of drinks and dining options in our Glen Logie Restaurant, Climber’s Bar and Brandy Bothy. We are also a popular Scottish wedding venue, hosting beautiful events for up to 120 guests.
The Glen Clova Estate comprises land that is used for sheep and cattle grazing as well as game shooting. It’s a spectacular setting in the Angus Glens, located in picturesque settlement of Milton of Clova, near Kirriemuir. From walking and cycling to fishing and golf, there is plenty to keep guests entertained here. We can also arrange a choice of outdoor activities, including clay-pigeon shooting and photography tours.
So whether you’re a guest here to stay in one of our hotel rooms, lodges or houses, or a hill walker just stopping by for a well-earned pint, our friendly team look forward to welcoming you to Glen Clova!
